About the Candidate

A Delawarean by Choice, a Fighter by Nature

Born in Maryland, Travis Jack Stevens first fell in love with Delaware on childhood vacations — and that love never left. A highly skilled travel ICU nurse, Travis relocated to Delaware before the COVID-19 pandemic, putting down roots in the state he had always called home in his heart.

When the pandemic hit, Travis was on the front lines — working through the trauma and heartbreak of COVID units, caring for the sickest patients at their most vulnerable moments. He also served military personnel, witnessing firsthand the cost of endless war on the bodies and minds of those asked to fight them. That work left a mark. Travis developed PTSD — serious enough that he had to leave the bedside entirely, facing the real possibility of permanent disability. He chose instead to fight his way back.

His path back to the workforce led him to massage therapy — a career he had built before the Great Recession forced him away from it. That recession had derailed his original path; the pandemic nearly ended his second one. Travis knows what it means to have the ground shift beneath you through no fault of your own, and to rebuild anyway.

That personal history shapes his politics. Travis believes the United States has been complicit in war crimes — and that the ongoing campaign in Gaza constitutes genocide, with Israel bearing direct responsibility and the United States bearing the responsibility of an enabler. He is unequivocal: American tax dollars must not fund the killing of civilians. He opposes forever wars, military adventurism, and the weapons contractor economy that profits from permanent conflict.

Travis joined CAMP Rehoboth Chorus, became woven into the fabric of the community, and threw himself into volunteer work with local non-profits — eventually stepping into activism and local politics as a passionate community builder. Now he is running for U.S. Senate to bring a voice to Washington that has actually felt the weight of these decisions. This campaign takes no Super PAC money and no checks from outside interests. Just neighbors helping neighbors build the Delaware we all deserve.

The Issues

What We're Fighting For

Affordable Healthcare

Every Delaware family deserves access to quality, affordable healthcare. I'll fight to lower costs and protect coverage for all.

Good-Paying Jobs

Delaware's economy works best when working families thrive. I'll champion job creation, fair wages, and support for small businesses.

Safe Communities

Our neighborhoods deserve investment, not neglect. I'll work to fund public safety, mental health resources, and community programs.

Campaign Update — July 14, 2026

We Filed. We Are a Declared Write-In Campaign.

The fight continues — on our terms

"The price of privilege is the moral duty to act when one sees another person treated unjustly." — Isabel Wilkerson, Caste

Today we filed as a Declared Write-In candidate for U.S. Senate — Delaware. The standard filing path was blocked by barriers that exist precisely to keep outsiders out: steep filing fees, compressed timelines, and a political establishment that benefits from incumbency and silence.

We are not silent. We are not done. Running as a write-in is not a retreat — it is a refusal to disappear.

This campaign started because Delaware's incumbent Senator was running unopposed. Not because he has delivered for working Delawareans — but because the barriers to entry are designed to keep challengers out. We entered this race to change that. We are still in it for the same reason.

Zero Super PAC money. One hundred percent people-funded. Built by neighbors helping neighbors. That does not change because of a ballot line.

Here is how you vote for Travis Jack Stevens: When you receive your ballot, write in TRAVIS JACK STEVENS in the U.S. Senate race. That is it. Your vote counts. Your voice counts. The people who benefit from your silence have spent a great deal of money making sure you believe otherwise.

Where Travis Stands

A Delaware That Works for Everyone

No Super PAC money. No corporate donors. Just clear positions on the issues that matter to working Delawareans.

🏥

Healthcare as a Right

Every Delawarean deserves healthcare that doesn't bankrupt them. Travis supports expanding coverage, capping prescription costs, and ending the era of medical debt.

🏠

Housing You Can Afford

Working families shouldn't be priced out of the state they built. Travis will fight for affordable housing investment, tenant protections, and an end to corporate landlord loopholes.

⚖️

Break Up Concentrated Power

The oligarch class has rigged the rules long enough. Travis will push for antitrust enforcement, campaign finance reform, and a Senate that answers to voters — not donors.

🌱

Clean Economy, Good Jobs

Delaware's future is in clean energy and manufacturing. Travis supports a just transition that creates union jobs, protects our coastline, and leaves no worker behind.

🎓

Education Without Debt

A degree or trade certificate shouldn't saddle a young Delawarean with decades of debt. Travis supports debt relief, free community college, and fully funded public schools.

🗳️

Democracy That Includes Everyone

A $10,000 filing fee to run for Senate is a velvet rope, not democracy. Travis will fight to remove barriers to candidacy, expand voting access, and end gerrymandering.
