BREAKING — Iran claims more ships hit in Hormuz. You pay at the pump.
Friends —
BREAKING out of the Strait of Hormuz — and I will not pretend contested claims are confirmed facts.
Al Jazeera is reporting a new IRGC claim tonight, carried via Iranian semi-official channels: that Iran's navy targeted American vessels and oil tankers in the strait — including a claimed tally of two U.S. vessels and eight tankers, plus additional ships Tehran calls "violators." Those counts are not independently confirmed by Reuters, AP, or BBC as of this writing. I flag them. Delawareans deserve receipts, not propaganda from any capital.
Here is what tonight already established from U.S. and wire reporting: the United States says it destroyed five Iranian tankers after missile fire at a U.S. warship. Iran answered toward Jordan. Crews near Kuwait and Bahrain were warned to move. Brent has been clawing toward $100. Working families feel it at the pump.
This is the forever-war pattern: tanker for tanker, base for base, escalation without an honest end — while contractors and power brokers treat permanent conflict as a business model.
I spent years as a nurse. I worked critical care, including under Department of Defense contract. I left the bedside after years on the front lines. I rebuilt in Delaware. I will not rubber-stamp endless war while your gas and heat climb.
