Dear Delaware,
Monday morning. Day 101. Forever-war accountability: a president in "deciding mode," an Iranian claim of U.S. strike prep, UNGA week on the calendar - and Hormuz traffic collapsing while you fund the stage at the pump. No invented strike order. No invented deal. No kinetic BREAKING chyron. Just the choice in daylight.

Sunday on Fox News - reported by CNBC and Al Jazeera - President Trump said he is in a "deciding mode" on Iran. Options he floated: "wiping Iran out," letting its economy "rot," or a deal. He said he would be open to meeting Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on the sidelines of the U.N. General Assembly this week.
That is what he said on camera. The decision has not been announced. I will not invent a strike order. I will not invent that annihilate has already been chosen. On the record: wipe out, rot, or deal - and a country still waiting for daylight instead of forever-war improvisation.

Same news window: Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters told Al Jazeera its intelligence claims the United States is preparing to resume strikes. Tehran warned of "sustained, effective and painful" retaliation against U.S. bases and interests in the region, and said regional countries that help would be treated as complicit.
Those are Iranian claims. Attribute them. They are not a confirmed U.S. order. Forever wars feed on fog that turns a claim into a chyron and a chyron into inevitability. Delaware does not get a classified briefing at the pump. We get the bill.

This week: Pezeshkian is to address the U.N. General Assembly on Tuesday. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi left Tehran Sunday evening for New York, with a stopover in Qatar, according to Iranian state media reported by Al Jazeera. Qatar is talking mediation. Markets hope. Cable hopes.
Diplomacy on the calendar is not a deal. It is not a ceasefire. Showing up at UNGA is not the same as ending a forever war. Do not let anyone sell you the meeting as the finish line while Hormuz stays choked and Delaware keeps paying.

I am a travel ICU / critical care nurse. I have watched families choose between the specialist and the rent. Forever war makes that choice crueler - then asks you to trust "deciding mode," an attributed strike-prep claim, and UNGA photo ops while your tank is measured in overtime.
Working-class Delaware did not vote for forever war as a lifestyle, blank-check patriotism, or wipe-out / rot / deal riddles while school budgets and hospital shifts get the leftovers.
What I will fight for
Platform plank, not slogan: forever-war accountability.
Daylight on claims as claims - Iranian intel as attributed claim, presidential options as quoted options, no invented U.S. strike orders, no invented deals or ceasefires sold as inevitability. Congress back in the authorization job the Constitution assigns. No blank checks. No Super PAC money from interests that profit when the war machine stays hungry. People-funded. No Super PAC. Ever.
If a war is righteous enough to fight, it is accountable enough to end - or authorize - in daylight. Delaware deserves a Senator who says that when the cameras prefer fog.
